The street legal and foldable XCAPE X1 eScooter in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany
A Weekend with the XCAPE in Berlin Day 1
Hello to the world. My name Anna. Together with my husband and two children, we form the loving Meyers family. We live in Hamburg and traveled to Berlin during our last weekend.
The reason why we chose Berlin was the historical treasures of the German capital. We wanted our children to visit various historical places of Berlin and know their significance. The song might be over, but the melody still lingers on.
We took a train from Hamburg to Berlin and stayed at the Hilton Berlin Hotel. We had two days to explore the city. We were super excited but taking rest was also important. We had to start our sojourn in Berlin from the next day.
We were informed by the hotel staff that the phenomenal foldable XCAPE eScooters are approved for road traffic in Germany. So, we rented four of these unique foldable XCAPE eScooters for the whole family before we went exploring Berlin the next morning. We thought that the eScooter will ease our mobility and reduce the transportation delays also.
And renting the eScooter was a great decision. We connected our smartphones to the XCAPE eScooter and navigated to the first location, the Brandenburg Gate. We spent two hours there and learned that it was built during the 18th-century reign of Friedrich Wilhelm II. It has long been a defining symbol of Berlin and both the city's division and unification.
We were mesmerized by the architecture of the Brandenburg Gate. However, we did not wish to miss out on the other places in Berlin. We quickly unfolded our XCAPE eScooters in a second and cruised the city to reach Pergamon Museum.
The Pergamon Museum was a captivating spot. The Pergamon Museum is a three-wing complex. The impressive reconstructions of massive archaeological structures – the Pergamon Altar, Market Gate of Miletus, the Ishtar Gate and Processional Way from Babylon, and the Mshatta Facade left us spell-bound.
The sun was about to set by the time we moved out of the Pergamon Museum. We were hungry and our XCAPE eScooters also exhausted half of its charging. We decided to try some street food in Berlin and so parked our eScooters to go eat. The street food had a variety of dishes from staples to sweets. We were flattered by the hospitality of the Berlin city. Click Here for More
It started getting dark as we finished eating. We thought of visiting Checkpoint Charlie to give a good finish to our first day of exploration. We again picked up our electric scooters and reached Checkpoint Charlie.
We knew that it was the setting for many thrillers and spy novels, including Octopussy and The Spy Who Came In From The Cold. This added more to the excitement of exploration of the site. At the checkpoint, we discovered that it is historically significant because it was the third checkpoint opened by the Allies in and around Berlin.
The night closed in as we decided to leave for the hotel. It was a fun-filled day and it could have not been possible without the foldable XCAPE eScooter. We are waiting for the morning of the second day now. Click Here For More
