The street legal and foldable eScooter XCAPE in Munich, Germany
A Weekend trip with the street legal and foldable eScooter XCAPE to Munich – Day 1
Last month I was on a business trip in Berlin, Germany. I had several meetings in Berlin but the weekend was free, therefore I decided to make a small excursion to Munich. Actually, I also wanted to test my new purchase in Germany. I have been a friend of eScooters for a long time already, however I found a new must have eScooter, the street legal and foldable eScooter XCAPE. The XCAPE is quite unique in its design and features, it caught my eyes and it was like love at first sight which I bought instantly.
I had booked a train ticket to Munich. The street legal eScooter XCAPE is foldable in just 1 second weighing just 19 kgs and can be pulled along like a trolley bag. So, boarding the train with the XCAPE eScooter wasn’t much of an effort. XCAPE eScooters are legal to drive in Germany (provided they have been purchased through www.xcape-bike.comwww.xcape-bike.comwww.xcape-bike.com or one of the dealerships) and many other European countries so I thought, I found a good companion to carry me through the streets. On arriving in Munich, it was early morning and my journey of city exploration begins right then. As soon as I was out of the station, I unfolded my XCAPE eScooter. I switched it on and navigated to my hotel.
While I was driving to my hotel, I got acquainted myself with the city- its people, its buildings, its road architecture and the environment. I stopped at a local restaurant for breakfast. I checked into the hotel to change and to refresh. I took my XCAPE eScooter, unfolded it in just one second and entered the first destination into my navigation system. Marienplatz, Munich’s most famous square. While on my street legal XCAPE eScooter, I adore the structure of the New Town Hall where I was just in time at 11am to witness the Glockenspiel chime which enacts the Bavarian history and events. Also, I visited the Old Town Hall that is rebuilt and houses the Munich’s toy museum. I drove my XCAPE eScooter at another adjusted speed of 5kmph to Mary’s Column. I checked out some local shops for some souvenirs and had my lunch at the local restaurant there.
Next, I navigated to the English Garden. I wanted to relax a bit while chilling with a cool Bavarian white beer. English Garden is huge in size where I was allowed to carry my XCAPE eScooter inside. I strolled along the wooded paths breathing in some fresh oxygen. Apart from its name resembling a British touch, this garden also houses a Chinese tower, Japanese Teahouse and a Greek Temple. It was easy for me to just be on the XCAPE eScooter and ride through the park casually. I took a break at a spot to check out the surfers in the river Isar.
Munich is popular for its beer garden, and English Garden houses some of the best Beer Gardens in the city. I dropped by at the Beer Garden Zum Aumeister where I pampered myself with Royal Hofbräu Beer while relaxing under the canopy of the old chestnut trees facing a lovely pond. My XCAPE eScooter was sitting just right beside me. It is like a full relaxed evening. I did have some beer but I wasn’t done with my Beer quota yet. I navigated to The Augustiner Bräu, which is the oldest Brewery in the city.
The Augustiner Bräu is for real beer lovers where they practice the law of purity- just hops, water and barley malt. It was just a lovely place where I watched the football match with some sports enthusiasts and beers. Then I booked a cab, put my XCAPE eScooter in the trunk of the cab and moved to the hotel. After some real deal with beer, all I need was sleep but my mind couldn’t forget getting my street legal and foldable eScooter XCAPE on charge for the next adventurous day.
